Font Chicago San Serif Download Apple Mac Default
Chicago was the default Macintosh system font in System 1–7.6. Also seen on LCD screens of earlier iPod models. Geneva (sans-serif) is designed for small point sizes and prevalent in all versions of the Mac user interface. Oct 29, 2018 Double-click the font in the Finder, then click Install Font in the font preview window that opens. After your Mac validates the font and opens the Font Book app, the font is installed and available for use.

- Sep 24, 2018 Select All Fonts in the sidebar, or use the Search field to find the font that you want to download. Fonts that aren't already downloaded appear dimmed in the list of fonts. Select the dimmed font and choose Edit Download, or Control-click it and choose Download from the pop-up menu.
- The last version of the OS to use this font as default was System 7. For Mac OS 8, Apple decided to discard this wonderful part of their brand’s identity, and commissioned David Berlow of the Font Bureau to design Charcoal. Apple actually released System 7 for free download here.
- The sans-serif font, Helvetica, is usually San Francisco now. You can also just use -apple-system which may be changed to system soon ( source ) – haykam Jul 16 '16 at 21:01 add a comment.
